Christmas

HEY GUYS
I had a really boring christmas eve because i was just all alone at home and had no plans at all. My parents are overseas and my friends were all having dinner and out with their parents and what about me?i was having instant noodles at home...LOL.

At least at midnight boyfriend came to pick me up after his work ended and we went for movie with his friends. Bf didn't even tell me what movie we were going to watch wtf and we met them up when the movie was starting so only at that point he told me "oh ya and we're watching Cz12" WHEN I ALREADY WATCHED THAT MOVIE and i really thought it sucked lol.
So sadly i had to watch that movie again tsk.

After the movie we went to have supper before meeting his other group of friends and talked all the way till 5am LOL. (just like the year before except it was until around 7am) Actually while they were talking i was thinking to myself,like how i wish i had a big group of friends like this who share similar opinions and all of them have freedom like i do.

Usually i hang out with my friends individually...how do i say this lol,like i have best friends (eg. grace, tonglin, chris, zhiyou) but i meet them all through different ways so usually i hang out with them alone?but i must say even though i meet them individually but its just as fun but its really not the same as hanging out as a group.
I knew grace when i was in kuo chuan sec for a year, i knew tong lin when i was in sota, i knew chris from primary school and i knew zhiyou indirectly from others. I always imagined myself organizing my birthday party with all these individuals coming together and including my bf and other close friends as well and thinking of how DAMN AWKWARD it'll be lol. But yet it'll be so nice to celebrate with all of them :( So usually because of this i will have around 4 birthday celebrations? LOL.

And i sort of have one clique?with rachael daisy and mabel but sadly they do not have the freedom that i have so there are many things i cant really organize when it comes to them. For example right now when my parents are overseas,they can come to my house to have a christmas party/sleepover etc but its not possible since some of them cant sleepover.

Sigh anyway, on christmas, boyfriend still had to go to work so i was alone at home but i planned a "surprise" homemade candlelit dinner for him!
He ends work at around 9pm so at 7pm i headed down to junction 8 wanting to buy a turkey but its all sold out sadly. So i had to find alternatives so i bought sushi as a replacement (and i always get him sushi i dont know why) and got some stuff from ntuc before heading home. After making several preparations for the dinner i went downstairs to get astons :D

Omg seriously they both look like they're down on chicken pox or something because i chose wholemeal bread.i really should have taken the white bread instead.

Cooked the egg myself just the way my boyfriend likes it haha. NOT BAD RIGHT.

After getting the above preparations done up i went downstairs to get the ribeye steak from astons. I went to 7-11 and mama shop wanting to get a tub of strawberry ice cream (YUCKS) because its my boyfriend's favourite lol but sadly they didn't have it :(

It was seriously super troublesome planning the timing properly to ensure that the food is still hot when he arrives and i had to buy so many things home.i really wished i could split myself into a few parts and split the work lol. It took me 3 whole hours to prepare all of this ok.

I took this picture 3 mins before he arrived and was thinking to myself for a damn long time "why does the picture look so odd" and i realized i forgot to set the most important thing - the plates LOL.so i ran to the kitchen...

Oh ya and before he arrived i was just sitting at the dining table for around 10minutes and getting all excited to eat the food and making sure that i didn't miss out anything LOL.

Omg and i was such a failure. My plan was to light the candle once he rings the bell but i failed to light the candle...what the heck. Ok this sounds really stupid but from young i never played with candles and i dont think i have really ever lighted a candle before or anything so i burned myself and failed to light it at the same time. -_- so in the end he had to light it for me HAHA.

I was really happy and enjoying the dinner cause he liked it :) Just felt that all the effort put in was all so damn worth it.
I dont know why but i just really really like planning surprises or other occasions, be it birthday parties, end of year parties/chalets. I just love seeing things run smoothly and making people i care about happy. Its really thick skin for me to say this but i'm quite good at organizing such things especially birthday surprises. I'm not referring to booking restaurants or whatever but leading up to the surprise. For example,lying to the birthday girl so she would be totally unaware of the surprise or something like that.

And i really love getting surprised as well and one super memorable one would be my big birthday surprise planned by my friends last year. I was seriously extremely touched and i will remember it for the rest of my life <3. But sadly i think that's the one and only big surprise i've ever received in my life.
Sometimes i really wish bf could plan a nice surprise for me but i guess most guys are not like that?

I could just easily think of a few ways to come up with a great surprise for others but sadly it doesn't usually happen on me. Sometimes i feel like i'm the only one who would put in so much effort into making some people happy.

Anyway it was really one of the best christmas nights i've had. :)

Oh ya and i was trying to do a good recording today for around 2 hours but still failed to do so because somewhere in the piece i'll screw up and i'm really super irritated thinking about this. Tomorrow is supposed to be my own "dateline" to make a good recording and uploading it on youtube and i'm not done with the video!?

Random picture i accidently took instead of clicking video lol.as you can see my left eye is all red from my sore eye for the past week and its actually super swollen but i purposely smiled so its not that obvious but its really really bad.

OH YA and forgot to mention tonglinz got me this from the UK hehe but sadly i really REALLY hate raisins but i'll still eat it since its from her lol. <3 <3
