Night at Tanjong Beach Club

HEY YALL
God i've been so busy with work i've neglected all my outings, my friends, my blog and my rest.
I was working for the mooncake job at the takashimaya booth for 13 days straight including today D:
I could swear i felt like a robot but i'm real glad it's all over now haha if not i might just die

The other weekend i was given 2 free tickets by #OOTDCampaign to go for the fashion event at Tanjong Beach Club!
Thank you for the tickets once again :)
The event was a full day one from 11am to like 3am. The fashion shows were mostly held in the afternoon.
Sadly Ritche and i had work and i could only make it in the evening which was the partying part!!

We were actually contemplating whether or not to go cause we were dead tired and there was the Singapore Night event around town :(
But we still went ahead cause the tickets were $38 PER PAX and since we got them for free we thought like why not right for the experience haha
A normal club ticket at most only costs $32 for guys and about $25 for ladies?

Selfie cause i finally had a doll up day after a month of work~

We decided to try walking to sentosa from Vivo instead of taking the usual and expensive $4 per pax monorail
Realized how we have been going in and out of Sentosa real often these few months
Each of us spent at least $20 or more altogether just on the monorail alone????
So that's like $50 altogether already, i would rather take a cab please

And the walk was really nice with street shops selling super random and cheap things
And they even had a travelator for the lazy / super hot afternoons (when it's so hot you get goosebumps and you dont want to move at all)

Inappropriate???? LOL

My idea of a romantic night D:

LOOK AT THAT

Started doing some light photography and playing around with the shutter speed hehe

We took the monorail from Waterfront station to Beach station and started asking around for directions to Tanjong beach and it ended up being a 15-20 min walk from the monorail and so i was praying hard for it to be all worth it lol
After we got there, it proved to be not worth the walk.we didn't stay longer than 30minutes before leaving the place to head home haha :(

The music was really quite good and was indeed comparable to Zouk's
BUT the crowd was really weird?

Everyone would know of a beach party to be more relaxed and towards casual dressing so like cropped top, shorts, slippers, hair let down all
But half the crowd looked like they were dressed for a ballroom or wedding or something?
How do some of them even walk in heels on the sand until now i'm still really curious to know omg

Then in front of the DJ was something like the "dance floor"
but everyone dancing wasn't facing their own group of friends but like literally standing in a row and facing the stage/DJ?!
It was like a... live concert or something and they were still wearing their ballroom looking outfits i was pretty confused
Every normal club would have people dancing amongst their friends not in neat rows of 5 HAHA
Not to forget how small the dancing crowd was, it was really awkward looking

I would say that this is more for casual sitting around and drinking rather than clubbing

There was more than half of the area closed up/barricade for VIPs only and it was really super exclusive like those you see in movies
Sadly everything that looked promising or fun was in there (though i still dont think i'll stay even if i was in the vip area)
What's clubbing without dancing

And the typical movie like scene
Rich men with ladies literally there just to lay next to them at the VIP area

Yes, the pool was indeed inside the VIP area as well *sadness

This club would be rather similar to Avalon in my opinion
1. 70% of the people there were foreigners
2. The dance floor is really empty
3. Awkward dancing everywhere
4. Awkward dressing everywhere
5. Expensive
6. Rather exclusive VIP area

Only difference is that the music here was so damn good i was so sad to leave lol

Well that sums up my disappointing night with the boy
I was ready to party HAHAHA but had none of it. It wasn't worth staying there but worth the experience maybe?
I have always been curious how it was like at Tanjong beach club, cause everyone i know has never been there before
I'm not sure if a beach party is for me anymore, maybe i should skip all of that and stick to my fav zouk hahaha

That's all i have for this post!! Shall do a continuous posting daily for the week i have sooo much more to update hehe
Till next time peepz
