River Safari / Singapore Flyers, Batam, Johor Bahru

HEY YALL

There are just so many dates that Ritche and i went on until i don't even know where to start wtf. If i blog about all of them the blog post would at least take 3 whole days to type D:
I couldn't even find the time to blog over the past 2 weeks, that's how busy we were HAHA.

I don't know why our pictures always look so perfect leh.i always say we look alike (his auntie says so too) and he disagrees.maybe it's just the couple face?

Taken on our first monthsary (last sunday) when we did super random things cause we had no money left.we spent like all our money and a lot of our savings over the past month and people must think we're crazy but more than half of it was on food.A WHOLE LOT OF FOOD.

I've been eating so so so much more when i'm with Ritche wtf like no diet control. Diet went haywire. Ice cream, ice cream everyday, bubble tea maybe more than once a day. 4 meals or more are the NORM. Huge portions, buying snacks after meals. OMG.so much guilt LOL.

Few photos taken at my place early in the morning on tuesday! We were heading for the river safari and zoo that morning and singapore flyers in the evening with another couple haha.double date!

We headed over to the river safari (just next to the zoo) first because it was noon and just way too hot to go to the zoo first! I had high expectations of river safari cause SEA aquarium was quite good, but seriously river safari was a disappointment.

It was damn sian leh like, more than half of the exhibits were closed, the animals were similar to those at SEA aquarium or just super ordinary, like those you find in the supermarts when you buy your steamed fish. The ticket costs $25 just to go in right now leh and it costs $35 at the end of the year when everything opens wtf. Thank god we didn't have to pay a cent for this :)

The only thing worth going for: RED PANDAS, TOO CUTE, TOO CUTE.

the jiajia and kaikai pandas are also in river safari but they were asleep or in the cave. -_- i heard that they're always like this so uh don't bother going all the way to river safari just to see them la.you can probably google better images of them than to go there and snap photos of their back facing you.

Right after leaving river safari it started raining :( so we couldn't go to the zoo it was so sad.
We thought the rain would have stopped after an hr or so and it really did, but there was no point walking in the light rain cause the animals would be hiding in their shelters anyway :(

Sigh, haven't been to the zoo in such a long time and when we go there it just had to rain when it was so fucking hot before that.

Headed over to marina square for alfero's ice cream like seriously they have the best ice cream EVER.so smooth, so fresh and its less fattening.i think that was our 3rd time visiting their shop that week lol.

Walked over to the flyers after that! It's actually my 3rd time on the flyers but i always thought it was quite boring. 30 minutes was too long for me i'll just be using my phone after awhile but when we were on the flyers it just somehow seemed like we didn't have enough time. It felt so short i don't even know how its possible lol.

We left pretty early that evening and headed for home cause we were going to batam the next morning! We had to get up at 5+am i dont even know how i managed to do so omg.

Honestly, the only nice thing about batam is that you can just pay $134 for the ferry to and fro including tax for 2 pax, and have a 5 star hotel room for the night! And the customer service at the hotel is damn good leh. The hotel that we stayed in is called Harmoni One Hotel, a short walk away from Batam City Square (i think?).

We visited 2 malls, and their fashion is either from a decade ago or it's nice but way too overpriced. Poor quality dresses can be sold at $30 SGD lol and not as if they're like damn unique or something, you can find these kinds of dresses anywhere else :( So we didn't buy any clothes in the end but bought some handicrafts instead.

The woman took less than a minute to get this done it's damn cool! And on the other side of the bracelet has my name as well :) $2 well spent hehe.

On the following morning, shit happened and we had to rush back to singapore. We changed our ferry time from 8pm to 9am but THANKFULLY they allowed us to change it without charge or any problems. Really just fucking lucky. We were both feeling crappy, like we just missed a whole day at batam and we're back in Singapore so we decided to head over to malaysia after completing shitty stuff in Singapore. Like woah we're the most impromptu couple ever HAHA.

We left for woodlands at 12+pm and reached malaysia at around 2pm! We even decided to stay at malaysia for the night LOL thankfully we just had enough to book a hotel and pay for food etc.
Now whenever i go to JB i'll have to go for the Ah Piaw wanton noodles and drink their lime juice with Ai Yu. You just have to take a cab over to Taman Sri Tebrau to find the stall! I guess their wanton mee standard can be compared to er, Singapore's pontian noodles?

I just realized i didn't even take photos in malaysia. Like fuck that place is damn scary. We've been approached by many teens selling stolen smartphones IN THE MALLS or just outside the malls OR NEAR OUR HOTEL. And you can see them like looking around for new targets leh. I don't even know how they're so pro at it.
I actually left my phone in the hotel and a hidden spot cause i didn't feel safe bringing anything out.
There's just too many stories of being robbed or whatever in malaysia.

I was so relieved to reach Singapore safely leh. I don't think i'll bring my phone with me the next time i go to malaysia. It's just too risky :(

My boyfriend is really the best in the world. Just a simple example from yesterday, i had a new student coming over to my place for lesson and another student right after. However my parents will be leaving the house while i'm teaching so there will be no one to take care of ginger so boyfriend came to my place early in the morning just to take care of ginger while i'm teaching.
After that he even sent me to work (he never failed to do so over the past few weeks) and picked me up 5 hrs later when my work ended. What the heck who does that? :(
Like idk, just so fucking lucky to have him. More lucky than striking the lottery.

Happiest Days

Omg i havent been updating for such a long time it's so weird.
I used to be so bored everyday and have nothing better to do so i keep wanting to blog but ever since Ritche happened (HAHA) i have been so busy!

We still have quite a number of plans ahead of us and i really can't wait! This includes like going to the Zoo, river safari? and batam, and random food trips, baking macarons this month. It's always damn fun to spend time with this idiot even if there's nothing to do. I just love being around him.

 I have been having worse self esteem issues lately. It's as if i cant stop comparing myself to other girls but NO its time for a fucking change already. Why should i let others affect me? Even if i'm the ugliest girl in the world it doesn't matter. I am definitely the luckiest and happiest right now.

This boy really knows how to make me feel better about myself not just with bullshit like "you're fucking pretty alr" etc. I don't even have to tell him what was bothering me, he knew even before i said a thing. Fucking amazing isn't he. Knows me for less than 3 months but already knows practically everything about me. Hehe love you this amazing shit.

Anyway updates, i won't be going to uni anymore. I got accepted and offered a scholarship but i rejected it! I don't really want to further my music education anymore. I really love teaching music but i think i had enough of music theory and history the thought of it makes me want to kill myself. Besides, it's not a full scholarship (they don't ever offer full scholarship) so like 200k for the whole music education in UK is way too much.

I just started teaching at prelude music school at novena and i have 2 private students. Will probably be having 2 more private students plus i'm starting on my online store asap! YAY.
I have bigger plans for the future and i really can't wait. My love is so supportive and willing to help me haha i didn't even ask for his help but he already made himself involved in everything i want to do. Best boyfriend really. Such people still exist leh, what the fuck, fucking amazing please.

Best Boyfriend in the World

HEY YALL

i finally found the time to blog about my new boyfriend :) the one i've been referring to as the "special someone"! He is really an amazing person, the nicest guy i've ever met in my whole lifetime.
There are so many things he's done for me and for people around him that i could list but if i listed every one of them i'll probably have to type until the day after tomorrow.

I know that many people have been wondering why i decided to go on with this relationship even though it's too fast since my break up. I really did think of being single for around 5 months after the break up but this special boy makes me feel like there's no need to do so, and i'll tell you why.

1. He can relate to me and he's damn similar to me
I swear i'm not saying this because i'm in love but i've never met anyone who could relate to me so well and is actually so damn similar to me. No guy friend or female friend can actually understand me as well as he does. He always knows what i'm thinking and what i'm planning to do even though he's only known me for 2 and a half months and we've only met 25 times. I could really have a blog post on 99 reasons why we're similar but i'll do it another time instead HAHA.

We've gone through the same shit in life, especially when it comes to what we faced in our own 3 year past relationships. Being neglected, taken for granted, putting in effort that goes to waste, never appreciated and so much more. That's just one out of the many similarities we have, but you can already know why that draws us even closer together.
We finally get to be appreciated and loved so much by another, and we just never want to hurt each other cause we really know how that feels. So amazing right?i know its damn amazing please.

2. We're damn crazily in love
I just know that i've never really felt this way towards another before. It's really so difficult to describe how i feel towards him cause everyone who reads this would just think "love lor,like normal boy-girl relationships" but no. It's just so different and the feeling is amazing. I felt as if he's really the first person i ever truly loved. Like,idk,it felt as though i've been lying to the guys i've dated when i told them "i love you".

We are just both so willing to give up practically everything and anything for the relationship. We just want to make each other happy everyday. We want to spend so much time together. Yup,people would probably think this is the honeymoon period or whatever. But i can feel the difference.

3. He's really the best boyfriend anyone could possibly find
and for this he says i'm the best girlfriend anyone could ever possibly have but i dont believe that part haha.i always feel inferior when compared to him and he feels inferior as well (ya i know we're fucking retarded we think the same shit all the time). I never knew someone could actually be so damn selfless? So caring. So sweet and loving. Just wants to make me smile no matter what it takes. He gets so troubled when i'm upset over anything and he is willing to do anything just to make me smile again even if i'm troubled over a small matter.

He sees the good in me and he accepts my flaws. I actually listed all my flaws (both physical and in terms of my character) to him but he still loves me all the same. Yup,i'm not a fucking idiot and i know that it takes time to see if he really can stand my flaws but i'm very sure that he can and i'm also willing to change for him. I actually have changed for him.

The one and only flaw he wants me to get rid of would be my low self confidence haha i know its a huge problem that i've had and i've been wanting to gain confidence for a crazily long time already but nothing really worked. But, this boy really assures me and give me bits (or actually huge chunks) of confidence every single day. He knows it when i'm self conscious over my physical flaws but he'll tell me that it's really fine etc. I don't know how he does it but i really do feel better from all of the assurance he gives me everyday.

Yup,people think i'm crazy if i say this but this relationship is perfect. Physical attraction, emotional connection, the crazily strong feeling we have for each other and just all our similarities and similar opinions and mindsets. I would never doubt his love for me and i don't think he would doubt my love for him (WONT RIGHT? D:)

I can't even imagine us arguing over anything except for things like who pays the bill,whether he can send me home,me telling him that his instagram photo is nicer and he'll say mine is nicer,insisting on buying each other things HAHA. If he proposed to me right now i actually would say yes. That's how sure i am of this relationship. I don't think i can ever love another person, i don't think i can ever date another person. I can never find anyone like him. My expectations would be so high only Ritche can pass them hehe.

We're a crazy and impromptu couple. We are willing to do anything and everything together so we do whatever that comes to our mind, no need to plan one HAHA. We've only been together for 2+ weeks and we've been to keppel bay to watch the sunset and look at the pretty moon, we've been to SEA aquarium together, we tried baking macarons but failed terribly but laughed it off cause we'll have a lifetime to bake them again, we've watch tons of movies in the cinemas together, quite a few drinking sessions with his friends and mine, met many of his friends and he met mine, met each other's parents, shopping, ice cream buffet, MBS and our failed gardens by the bay plan cause it was too hot we just decided to go somewhere else HAHA, playing quite a lot of pool and he's damn good, walking my dog that he loves so much and just spending so much time talking and having meals and ice cream everywhere in singapore together.

I'm sorry to say this but i think this might be the most amazing relationship you can ever find already. No one can be compared to us HAHAHA. I havent been so damn happy in my life before and he feels the same way too. Everyday we just keep thinking like,fuck yes,i'm lucky to have this relationship. I'm just so so so happy omg my life is complete :')

TAIPEI DIARY --- Day 4, Wu Fen Pu Wholesale Market, Karaoke --- Day 5, Zhongxiao Dunhua Shopping

this is my final post involving my ex so i'm really glad that i'll finally be able to blog about my new special someone :) the truly special special guy i've met.

i'll make it a short post cause the trip doesn't mean anything to me anymore.

on the second last day we headed to wu fen pu which is taipei's wholesale market! i read from many blogs that shop owners from ximending and shilin actually get their stocks from wu fen pu so they are selling it at a lot cheaper than the normal shops.

however there are quite a few things that you guys need to note if you're planning to go there which is 

1. do not go on mondays because the people collect stocks on monday so they wouldnt care about normal customers.they're probably just be busy counting stocks or whatever!

2. do not visit before 1pm because they are all closed LOL.they're like me,they only start operating in the afternoon.

DIRECTIONS:

Wu fen pu is just at Houshanpi station on the blue line! Getting there from Jiantan station cost us around NT35 (approx $1.50 SGD) and 30minutes to get there. Wu fen pu is quite close to the mrt station so its really easy to get there, no worries on getting lost!

I feel that this place is a MUST TO GO.i had one of the best meals i've had in my entire life right here serious.it was so damn fucking good i went back on the following day for lunch again.madness i know.

This place is called formosa chang and you just have to spot for the yellow signboard with the weird man with beard and you'll see it! its very easy to spot once you're out of the mrt station.

one thing to note is that they do not sell drinks in their restaurant its damn retarded LOL.but you'll get damn thirsty during the meal so bring a bottle of water with you!

Rice with the fragrant of heaven costs NT65 (approx $2+ SGD)! we both got the big bowl one cause we're mad like that LOL.its damn worth it really like the rice is so moist but not soggy and it's taste is one of a kind.

I NEED TO FIND AN OUTLET IN SINGAPORE damn it.

fried chicken cutlet that was super tasty as well.just goes so well with the rice!

you have to eat the traditional way and so you'll have to use the pair of chopsticks and eat from the bowl.i held the bowl until my middle finger had a dent on it CAN YOU SEE IT LOL.

its damn ridiculous please and it hurt so bad :(

I really love how this place is so damn huge but then it's still damn organized.

There is only one long stretch whereby they sell children clothing and the rest of the wu fen pu is just female and male clothes. 

LONG LONG STRETCHES OF APPAREL SHOPS EVERYWHEREEEEEEEEEEE

i spent 3 whole hours just shopping non stop and i really shopped until my hands couldnt carry anymore plastic bags even with the help of my ex.i actually browsed through so many clothes until my arm HURT when i lifted them to browse through some more clothing.it was insane.

even though taipei's weather was quite cooling i was sweating in just my tank top and shorts cause the clothes were just too heavy.

So girls, dont wear thick clothing there k.

It can be a shopping paradise depending on what kind of a shopper you are.

If you're getting more than 10 pieces of each design then well you can take a look inside the shop and ask for their best price if not i suggest that you dont bother to even step into the shop. These new stocks could cost between $20 sgd to $80 sgd?! and they're not even branded. But if you're lucky their new stocks could cost $10 sgd but its really damn rare.probably just 1 out of 50 shops that have such a low price for new stocks.

If you're not planning to get in bulk then go for the clearance clothes.these clothes aren't ah ma clothing but they are mostly still in trend.i am guessing,since its a wholesale market,that they are only left with a few pieces of these stocks or just one piece so they sell it off at a damn cheap price like $4 sgd for pretty pullovers or something. These racks have many different kinds of clothes and they usually range from $4 sgd to $12 sgd at most.

I bought around 30+ apparels in 3 hours,spending around $300+sgd.this would include shorts, highwaists, denim shirts, shoes, pullovers, many dresses and tops! i really would have gotten more if my arms weren't hurting that badly!

we went back to the hotel to put down our stuff and having dinner before our karaoke session!

just an example of a very worthy buy from the wufenpu wholesale market.this pretty bowler hat costs around $12-15 in bugis street.i'm pretty sure of that.

BUT THIS,cost NT100 which is only $4.25 SGD.

WTF.

very good burger from a restaurant at shilin.that meal only costs around $5 sgd with drinks.

unique earrings i got from wufenpu too.i really love them so much haha and they remind me of my navel stud!

At around 10+pm we headed over to shipai station on the red line for karaoke!

it costs only around NT20 (approx $1 SGD) to get from jiantan station to shipai.

we really did get lost when we tried to find the karaoke place so we had to ask friendly taiwanese strangers for help haha.but it was seriously damn worth it!

we found holiday KTV and it was SO WORTH IT REALLY.i have never visited such a cheap ktv place in my life.

It cost $18 SGD per pax for 3 hours,and FREE BUFFET.er what the hell please,$18 can only get you damn lousy buffet in singapore?you cant even have seoul garden with $18 la.and 3 hrs of ktv in kbox probably costs $30 at least.

The room was really big and the staff were really damn efficient and friendly.best karaoke experience i've ever had really.

I'm definitely going back to taipei one day and this is a place i'll visit!

On the following day i think we were sick of street food already HAHA.we had street food like every other meal so we decided to try their subway.their footlong MEAL ordering from the most expensive subs section only cost SGD $8+..........how is that even possible?

we ordered the cheese and steak sub.sounds damn good right haha but it was quite a disappointment :(

if you are thinking of buying some branded goods from taipei then head over to zhongxiao dunhua station on the blue line! i dont think its worth a visit though cause i'm not a materialistic girl.but if you are then you'll find a huge outlet of brands like ZARA and UNIQLO and AX there.

we ended up only spending an hr there cause honestly i think ION in singapore would make a better shopping place for branded clothes already.why waste a few hrs in taipei shopping for expensive clothes than eat good food and go for wholesale shopping instead?

yup i am damn crazy over formosa chang so we headed over for our last taipei meal there/ last meal together ever.i am never turning back to a relationship like that and i'm truly happy.like finally i woke the fuck up.

to sum it up,taipei was a well planned trip (cause i planned it what tsk HAHAHA).i will definitely go again someday or maybe even migrate here.who knows?

the people here are so friendly,i love their culture and they have good food and shopping.

however if any readers are going to taipei,a few things i would recommend as a MUST GO OR DO would include yu ren ma tou (refer to day 3), wu fen pu (refer to day 4), karaoke (refer to day 4), jiu fen (refer to day 2), shilin night market (refer to day 2), CLUBBING (refer to day 2) and drinking.

i really cannot wait to blog my next post about my special someone omg.i already have so many things i want to write right now.he's just such an amazing person i didn't know amazing people still exist. :') i am just so damn lucky i really am.
