EUROPE TRIP // SWITZERLAND [Day 4 & 5] - Luzern, Stans

HEY GUYS

This is a continuation of my europe trip as i travelled from Paris to Switzerland for Day 4 so read the previous posts first if you haven't! Sorry i took super long to do up my europe posts, cause there are many many MANY photos plus i was busy with the stylehacks launch yesterday. Will do up a separate post for that later :)

Day 4 and we left Paris for Switzerland at 7am so we had to wake up at like 5.30am. Ritche and I were complaining why they couldn't do a night drive to Switzerland instead, since the traffic gets so bad in the mornings and the drive is 11 hours long? They even told us it'll take around 8 hours to get to Switzerland from Paris but it ended up taking 11 hours. So we only reached Switzerland at 6pm wtf.

That wouldn't have been a concern if their shops opened till later hours of the day BUT THEY ALL CLOSE AT 7PM. PLUS, it already gets super super dark by 7pm so there was nothing to see either. Was super disappointed that day 4 was wasted away just like that but at least we got to do quite a bit of shopping the next morning when we headed over to a lil town for a few hours!

The whole bus was damn quiet cause everyone was probably sleeping and i was the only annoying one snapping so many photos LOL.
Had a stop at a random cafe for a toilet break and snacks! The one that i had was chocolate chips tart with a fruit (couldn't figure what it was but super fragrant). Don't know why the chocolate chips are all on one side of the pie only LOL??? But it tasted quite good! Really nothing like those i've had in Singapore. Singapore's tarts are usually egg tart, cheese tart, cheese with blueberries, custard, mixed fruits? and whatever. Boring and ordinary.

Finally reached our second stop for lunch!

Salmon with rice. The rice is looking pretty fragrant right?but looks are deceiving as always. IT WAS LIKE HARD, and UNCOOKED LOL. I was having a very very hard time eating their uncooked rice. On normal days i wouldn't even bother to try to eat it but i felt very bad cause it was Ritche's parents treat, i couldn't possibly waste food lol.
And this cost around $20 SGD k. $20 SGD for crappy crappy (inedible) food.

Ritche probably trying to complain how hard and uncooked the rice is LOL. Eh i swear it's inedible it got stuck on my teeth cause it was so hard plus i saw those like, skinny and raw rice grains that are brownish too (UNCOOKED, definitely).

Huge ass tictacs

This tasted damn fucking good i really wish i got a few more. Don't know why it comes in such a small packet and as usual only 1/4 of it is filled the rest is all air? I could eat 10 packets of them in an hr!!!

Couldn't understand why their mini Pringles are SO SO expensive. It's 2 Euros ($3.40 SGD)!
 In Singapore the biggest cans of Pringles are only like $3 max and it is 7 times more in quantity compared to this little can here?

LIMITED EDITION MAGNUM! Bet you guys have never tried this before hehe. Ritche and I bought the blue one to try. It's TIRAMISUUUUUU! And IT WAS SO DAMN YUMMY. Probably the best part of my Day 4 sadly LOL.

Looking at this photo and questioning why i live in Singapore.....

Finally reaching Switzerland, Luzern AFTER 10 HOURS. But no that wasn't the end of the bad traffic.

Got stuck at this spot for over 30minutes because of an accident ahead of us. Like what the hell i wish i could alight at that spot.i don't even care if idk how to get to the hotel at the end of the day ok. I was getting so pekcek i was sweating in the bus urgh.

Switzerland, always famous for it's chocolates. So as soon as we got dropped off at the hotel, we rushed to look for chocolates to buy!

That wasn't the end of our bad day 4. If you realized, Ritche is wearing my jacket. And why? cause when we were about to get off the bus when we reached the hotel, we picked up our snacks from the floor. Then the bottle of syrup inside the plastic bag was leaking and we didn't realize that there was a fucking hole in the plastic bag as well. Double bad luck??
 At first ritche held it above him without realizing it's leaking then he placed it against my leg (to pick up other things) and cause i was wearing shorts i could feel the syrup flowing all over my legs. It was so fucked up and disgusting my shirt had the syrup, ritche's red hoodie, jeans and tee had the syrup. Ritche was damn pissed off lol i had to go back to the hotel to get it all washed up urgh. Made him wear my jacket cause he's easily cold and all i was wearing was the denim shirt and shorts. Knew i would be fucking cold but i knew we didn't have the time to dig out another clean jacket so i made the excuse that i wasn't feeling cold at all. Ah well a terrible Day 4 but at least Ritche didn't catch a cold. That's all that matters!

Swiss knives everywhere and Ritche wanted to buy one but i don't think we could bring it back to Singapore :(

The only good thing they had at the hotel, the cigarette machine. But it wasn't even working lol.

On the following day we took a stroll to the beautiful lake at Luzern after our extremely sad breakfast lol

Finally reached the town in switzerland known as Stans!

Many people have asked where i got my scarf from haha. I had it since i was a kid so i really have no idea.

OVOMALTINE!!!! Got ourselves the bulk one with 3 decks and finished all of it already. :( Really sad. Anyway, ovaltine is from Switzerland since like 1909 (but still very expensive in supermarts). It's like 2.50 Euros for 1 deck ($4.25 SGD).

Toblerone is also made in Switzerland since 1908 and the shape is meant to be like the mountains in Switzerland!

Normal packs of cigarettes isn't enough for heavy smokers so they have XL versions

Boyfriend was having pistachios and i wanted some so he piak-ed a whole handful of it against my mouth...so romantic,not :(

Outside a shop we saw this cute doggie and we both started singing "how much is that doggie in the window" and went "WOOF WOOF" at the same time so it was really loud and the owner of the dog was there (we didn't know) and she stared at us HAHAHAHA fucking embarrassing.

Their sushi really really looks yummy but wtf it's around $39 SGD for 1 small box of it. Could have had a filling meal at Genki Sushi for 2 pax with that money!

Every time i find an ovomaltine product at the supermart i'll go like OMFG OMFGGGG

OVOMALTINE SPREADDDDD it was like limited edition at candy empire and they had very limited stocks going for $15 EACH. Wtf. It's only around $6 SGD here!

Got my ovomaltine ice cream and fuck i am a happy girl. IT WAS FUCKING GOOD i really REALLY wish they had this in Singapore. I'll buy a few everyday hahaha. My new fav stick ice cream but that was probably my last time eating it already :'(

Started raining when we got on the bus so guess what? Ritche and I had to pee HAHAH and it was 2 hours from the next stop for lunch. At first i tried to sleep, listen to music to block out the sound of the rain cause it'll make it worse. Couldn't sleep or anything so i decided we should distract ourselves by playing games. We were super deep in thought with that game and before we knew it we reached the lunch break stop already :)

Risotto that was fucking good and the weird thing on the right, I thought it'll be something like potatoes but it was like balls of starch or something. A bit sticky and chewy and it was super sian after eating half of it :/

And really, coming to think of it, they can't even cook normal rice properly but their risotto is so damn good i can't understand that at all.

First time seeing people smile while working for the whole europe trip leh LOL

The only thing that never failed me would be their pastries and cakes :) YUM x 100

Did i forget to mention where we are headed to? WE WERE HEADING TO FUCKING VENICE OMFG. This is your mini sneak peek of venice hahahaha. I really can't wait to blog about venice it's my FAV place in the world now I LOVE IT. And they sell stuff that are my fav too. Something i've been looking for for many many years but never bought one in Singapore.

Can't decide if i love venice more or i love taiwan more? Probably taiwan though cause taiwan is more affordable haha (plus their food so yumz?). Plus it's less dangerous. There are really too many pickpockets here who are fucking zai. And food and everything else is too expensive. But Venice, was really an experience.

It'll probably be the post with the most beautiful photos and i really really can't wait to show it to yall. Hehe <3
