HEY YALL
As mentioned in my previous post, Ritche was having an extremely high fever just 4 days ago. We didn't visit the clinic and decided to self medicate. At first it worked but in the middle of the night when i woke up yesterday, he was heating up damn badly. Probably like 39 degrees ++ and i got really worried.
His mom got me to bring him to the family clinic when we woke up in the morning and the doctor said it was safe to say that he has dengue fever,
asking us to rush to the polyclinic for a blood test and that he may be admitted to the hospital after. This isn't Ritche's first dengue fever, so it's expected to be worse than the first wtf.
Why, i sure did not expect my boyfriend to be hospitalized a day before Christmas Eve and i was shocked as fuck. Began packing so many things in my bag, getting ready to go to the polyclinic (and hoping we do not have to go to the hospital) and having so many things on my mind. I was so damn worried when he was just having a fever and now that the doctor said he has dengue i really didn't know how to feel.
The family doctor actually wrote a letter hoping that Ritche could get priority care and blood test but the fucking guy said it's not possible. We had to wait like over 2 hours before seeing the doctor wtf.
Eventually the blood test showed that he wasn't in danger but his platelets count was borderline (that's the indicator used to check for dengue btw) and so he'll have to go back on thursday (in 2 days) for yet another blood test AND FUCK
YOU KNOW, our flight TO CEBU is on FRIDAY, so if he gets hospitalized on thursday, THAT IS IT.
No more cebu no more boracay no more cebu bread.
Sigh picture of my sad and extremely ill boyfriend HAHAHA
damn cute pls and note that the finger is mine ah he isn't so act cute in real life.
So i guess the good news was that my boyfriend wasn't in danger but the bad news is that he might have to be hospitalized on Thursday.
Now i'm trying all i can to increase his platelets count and make sure he doesn't eat anything to make it drop lolol i actually did research wtf.
Anyway i met up with my friends after spending an hour at the family doctor and almost 4 hours at the polyclinic wtf
the whole day was practically spent on waiting for our turn to see the doctor.
Rachael and Mabel were finally back for a short while from abroad so we could have a reunion along with Daisy!
Went to the ramen place that they really loved and had my first bowl of ramen LOLOL.
I really REALLY don't recall ever ordering a bowl of ramen for myself in my entire life but it sure was tasty.
My order was obviously the biggest portion + the spicy one. I wonder how it'll taste like if it isn't spicy???
Mabel's look extra good because of the seaweed hahaha
Took me so long to try to salvage this extremely blur photo of us urgh
Bought my boy subway after we were done with our reunion because he has been eating porridge for the past 4 days for almost every meal HAHAHA
damn poor thing. Then he has been wanting to try the subway wrap for many weeks already so i tabaoed for him!
Look at him, so pitiful omg hold the wrap in his hands until like that LOL.
Ritche has honestly been extremely precious to me for this whole year, the whole 8 months and 5 days we have been together.
But ever since he became so sick over the past few days i've been treating him like he's fragile glass or something.
I really just wish i could do all that i can to make him feel better and recover. Just can't stand the sight or thought of him suffering anymore :(
Had to cancel my Christmas Eve plans at my friend's place today because they are damn hardcore and comfirm drink from evening till tomorrow in the morning and i don't wish for my boy to die so yeap i called it off :( Alcohol lowers platelets count so it's an extremely bad time to get a dengue. Sigh.
I hope everything would be alright in 2 days, i really really hope so.
I just want to have a lot of fun with him when we are in Cebu! I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK TO VISIT TOO.
Alright will have an update post / Christmas Lights post coming up real soon so till next time!
