CAFE HOPPING: Stateland Cafe, Working Title, Miam Miam Bugis

HEY YALL
WEEEE i am so thrilled cause my best friend is back from studying in UK for the past 10 months (not for good but aiya i was so thrilled to meet up with her)
If you didnt know, i was supposed to go and study with her in the UK, at the same school, at the same apartment.
But i decided to drop the idea of schooling haha if you don't know why go and read my post from a year back.
Everyone just questions why i didn't go wtf no one thinks it's a good idea but it's ok i'm here to prove them wrong anyways.

We decided to meet up at bugis so we could go cafe hopping a lil around haji!
What could be better than having good food eating non stop and catching up at the same time?

At stateland for the very first time!
Saw it quite a number of times on instagram so decided to give it a shot :)

Here's the address if you are interested to go there too
30 Bali Ln, Singapore 189866

It's actually really easy to get there!
When you're walking towards haji from bugis junction, you'll usually walk through raffles hospital.
After
you cross the road twice you'll see some shops right in front of you. It's just right there! (before blue jaz bar)

That's their menu for main courses (one and only page)
It's quite standard that cafes don't have many to choose from!

Retarded owl :P

We ordered the Eggs Benedict ($14.90) and it was quite good!

However just like many cafes idk why they can't get the egg right. (isn't that the most important part?!)
It's like once you run your knife through it, all of the yolk runs so you cant eat any of it :(
If you describe it in steak style, it was like eating it "rare" instead of "medium rare" HAHAHA

Overall i guess i could rate this a 8/10 cause everything else was not too bad

Next up was Working Title cause it's one of my favourite cafes and i just had to let tonglin try it too haha

Here's their address~
 48 Arab St, Singapore 199745

This cafe is just 2 streets behind Stateland Cafe, next to those shops selling very huge carpets!

When you go there during lunch hours, you can get their lunch set which comes with an additional juice and soup of the day :)
Ordered their fillet burger which was good as always!

and after, we headed to bugis junction for some desserts at miammiam! (2nd floor)
I think it's pretty amazing how we can eat so much in a day LOL
Almost 4 meals in 6 hours?

This is their lava cake with vanilla ice cream!
Can't remember the fancy name they used to call their desserts HAHAH if i used those terms you wouldn't know what i'm having alr

Oh and for miam miam, theirs is a 2.30 to 5.30pm tea time promotion to get a matcha drink, coffee or tea for $2 only.
However i've tried their cold matcha, their ice coffee and their iced milk tea and all of them taste quite horrible :(
Like i might rather have ordered their 60 cents plain water instead HAHAHA
Yes i'm sorry i'll probably never order another drink. You could try your luck though???

And lastly the biggest meal of the day at my granny's!
cause what better food could you have after leaving singapore for 10 months, than to have home cooked food? (esp when it's cooked by MY grandma HAHAHA)

Left with really happy stomachs of course hehe, and i had such an enjoyable time with tonglin!
Just knowing what's going on with her school life, her new friends and her life in UK was good enough for me!
Somehow even though we havent met or whatsapp much or skype while she's there, we could still have so much to say to each other haha
I guess this is how it's like when you've got a true friend :)

Well that's all i have for now!
Till next time :)
